So, sorry it took me about five million years to read this. I've just started easing back into ficcy things this week, and a certain someone was kind enough to remind me that this was at the top of my list.

All I can say is, I hope you write lots more stories like this. The way you described the closeness between Buffy and Giles, hardly even skirting on the edges of the concept of romantic involvement, had me transfixed. There was so much going on in here, and it was miles more satisfying than what the series was able to give us.

Of course I would love to read more from this storyline, but I know that's not always how it works when you write something... this might be the whole story and that's that. If so, it stands quite proudly on its own. If you decide to give us a little peek at what happens next it's simply a much appreciated bonus. :)

Now I guess it's my turn to write something, hmm? I've still got a prompt to work with and a WiP to finish. Maybe if I start now I'll actually have something done by the time SoG rolls around. :P
