Tour de Yorkshire

Yorkshire, it's all sunshine and bunting. Well it is when big bike races are on the telly. As the boys are literally passing by the top of our street, I shall be out and waving. Would be rude not to.

They go by so quickly, though, I love watching cycling in person but am also always faintly disappointed at how fast it's over.

It was fun. Mainly it's just an excuse for a get together and I made small talk with some neighbours I didn't know. It's nice to turn out for something that isn't religiously dividing or about the Royals. I did get to shout encouragement to the stage winner by name so I'm sure that helped him along.

Awesome! I meant to shout encouragement to Peter Sagan when I went to see Paris-Roubaix but by the time I remembered, he'd gone past. Also I'm certain he didn't need it. :)
